PRESIDENT & CFO
Since joining the MDC team in 2002, Chris has been vital in maintaining the company’s legacy as a global leader in wear and erosion protection. A trusted name since 1969, MDC was the first to develop a commercially viable boriding process. From troubleshooting to keeping the company and its finances running smoothly, Chris safeguards MDC’s legacy of excellence. He has 30 years of experience in manufacturing and management, a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, and is a graduate of General Electric’s prestigious Manufacturing Management Program. Chris was also the past president and general manager of Compudrive Corporation.
A creative visionary, strategic thinker and accomplished brand builder, Paul has a PhD in Materials Engineering and Applied Physics from Harvard. Throughout his life as an engineer and entrepreneur, he has worn many hats including consultant, before collaborating and founding MDC. Paul became president and successfully established MDC as a trusted name in boriding among industry leaders worldwide. He remained president until retiring from full-time work but remains a key member of the MDC staff.
A veteran and a pioneer with more than 40 years of experience, Frank has the vision and know-how to expertly navigate an ever-changing global marketplace. Besides managing MDC’s operations and overseeing client projects, Frank is a master at cultivating and maintaining trusted partnerships with our valued customers. A natural-born problem solver, Frank is the guy the MDC team can always count on for bringing effective solutions to the table.
A business executive with 40+ years experience, Dave oversees the company’s end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, manufacturing, planning, quality assurance and logistics. Dave prides himself on team-based orientation and has the keen ability to develop procedures that increase efficiencies and enhance operations.
TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER
Equipped with 30+ years of experience in strategic marketing management, Craig is a seasoned industry professional who successfully develops and manages relationships with a wide variety of clients and industry partners at MDC. Craig’s ability to present and communicate with expertise, develop trust and build positive relationships ensures successful outcomes for both our clients and the team, making him a true asset to MDC.
Rob’s background in metallurgical engineering gives him a sophisticated grasp on even the most challenging wear and corrosion problems. An expert in failure analysis, his experience working with a wide variety of materials and nailing down solutions has made Rob MDC’s go-to guy for developing boriding processes that fit the exact needs of new and longtime customers. A valued member of MDC’s talented team, Rob understands that each client is unique. He laser focuses on delivering results that help our clients drive down costs and increase efficiency. He has a bachelor’s of applied science in materials science and engineering from the University of Toronto in Canada.
A pro at creating and maintaining lasting business partnerships, Paul has 40+ years experience and is the company’s primary point person for suppliers and vendors. Leading teams in the management and production of foils, rings, braze products and filter screens, Paul is continually focused on delivering nothing less than the highest quality parts and products.
Manager of Business Development & Marketing
Based in Houston, Ray seeks out to identify unique applications and work with new customers as they get acquainted with MDC. With over 30 years in supply chain management of metal distribution Ray is knowledgeable and ideally poised to create long standing business relationships with our new and current customers. In addition, his experience gives him valuable insight into maintaining and improving the visibility of MDC’s branding though all forms of media as well as at conferences and trade shows.
